Advanced and Recycling-Centric Production Practices | Sustainability Talk Announcement

At our next Sustainability Talk: “Advanced and Recycling-Centric Production Practices”, we will be welcoming Ayşe Yılmaz, founder of Ottan Studio, a social initiative founded to pursue creative activities on sustainability and art, placing sustainable and aesthetic product development practices at the heart of its activities.

 Yılmaz started Ottan Studio as she was seeking an answer to the  question: “Which materials can be used in product design that are more sustainable than wood and stone derivatives?”. Now, Yılmaz will share with our participants the incredible potential of leaves, grass, and food waste that are otherwise inconsumable. Yılmaz will talk about her years of R&D work, rapidly developing technology, and unique designs, and through the lenses of environmental awareness, she will provide a narrative of her own production and entrepreneurship process that draws its inspiration from the nature.
